Come In We're Open
Most of our shops and restaurants have reopened thanks to the generous support of the community. We've even added a few new stores! Check out who's open!
Founded in 1772, Old Ellicott City boasts the oldest standing B & O railroad station, the first Baltimore & Ohio Railroad terminus outside of Baltimore. Nestled in the Patapsco Valley, we are a picturesque home to many historic sites, unique shops, and distinctive dining. Visit us for a day or weekend, and explore everything from antiques to nightlife. Old Ellicott City is conveniently located less than an hour from both Frederick and Annapolis in between Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Our businesses and residents are grateful for the support received after the devastating July 30th flash flood. Your donations have helped us rebuild our dreams. We invite you to visit us and see the amazing progress that's been made in restoring our town!
